Congratulations Sofia Taglienti! Winner in C-SPAN documentary contest! Sofia's documentary on education policy reform and teacher retention, titled "A Heart for Teaching" won 2nd place in the western division. Especially impressive since last year Sofia was part of the duo that won the First place award! Also thank you to Metro Arts film teacher John Perovich for his support and assistance to Sofia in completing this impressive documentary. This is the 3rd year in a row that Metro Arts students have won 1st or 2nd place in this contest!

Metro Arts students return from Spring Break trip to Japan! Japan Trip! 41 students and 6 chaperones travelled to Japan for 9 days. They visited Tokyo, Kamakura, Hakone, Kyoto, Osaka and Nara.
