In 2020, he accepted his current position at Metropolitan Arts High School where he teaches guitar, vocal performance, and music production.
As a teacher, Jacob believes in pushing students beyond what they think they are capable of. In order to accomplish this, Jacob emphasizes student choice, a holistic approach to music, and a mature exploration of the barriers which prevent healthy classroom environments. Students in his class should expect to go outside of their comfort zone to do things they may not have anticipated.
