Humanities teacher Tara Ferguson wins grant to study in Vienna Ms Ferguson was one of just 16 teachers nationwide to be accepted to a seminar in Vienna, Austria this summer.
Author Austin Kleon visits Metro Arts New York Times Bestseller Austin Kleon visited our students on April 17th to talk about his new book "SHOW YOUR WORK" . His book helps artists figure out how to present and market their work. He was in town for an event at Changing Hands Bookstore in Tempe. Thanks to Changing Hands for thinking of Metro and bringing us this great author!
C-Span Award Ceremony and Film Viewing At this ceremony, representatives from C-Span will present the three winners with an award. There will also be a showing of the winning video, "Diagnosing the Problem". This event requires reservations and is only open to Metro teachers, students and parents.
